The Business Committee of the PCSA arranges the order of business for any meetings of the General Assemly or Commission of Assembly.
The Committee ensures that all reports and other materials that will be considered are legitimate and in proper form. The Convener moves the reception of the various reports presented to Assembly. Its report to the Assembly proposes the order in which business shall be considered. The Committee can recommend that particular items be dealt with at certain times, in order that all parties involved can be present.
The usual manner in which material is conveyed to the Committee is through the Clerk of Assembly.
